Bart
Campolo is President of Mission Year, a national Christian service
program that recruits young adults to join outreach teams that live
and work in inner-city neighborhoods in partnership with strong local
churches. Bart also founded the Kingdomworks Urban Youthworkers Conference,
which each year brings together more than twelve hundred inner-city
saints for training and inspiration.
Bart
is a Staley Foundation lecturer, a national representative of Compassion
International, and a leader in Christian social action. His engaging
style and passionate commitment to the Gospel have made him a popular
speaker at youth gatherings, college campuses, and conferences across
the United States and overseas. He is also the author of “Kingdomworks:
True Stories about God and His People in Inner-City America”,
published by Servant Publications.
Bart lives in West Philadelphia with his wife Marty and their
children, Miranda and Roman. |
