ROOTS delegates looking for an affordable place to stay at ROOTS can stay at the ROOTS Family Campsite for as little £5 for the whole weekend! (based on 8 people sharing a pitch) You can bring your own tent, caravan or motor home to the site or hire from our partner companies.

Delegates can enjoy the picturesque and secure surrounds of Victoria Park which is located just a few minutes walk from all ROOTS venues and the local shops and restaurants in Southport.

A pitch on the Family Campsite is just £40 for the weekend and a pitch in the Shocking Tent Village is £20. Electricity can also be supplied upon request at an additional charge.

There will be separate areas for the Family Campsite and Shocking Tent Village with entry to the site restricted by special wristbands. There will also be a camping store with general camping supplies for your convenience. Hot showers and clean toilets are even available. It is worth noting that it has only rained once (and it was last year) on the ROOTS weekend in the 10 years since the event began, so even the weather is more than likely to be favourable.

To book your pitch you can email us at roots@salvationarmy.org.uk or call us on 0845 450 4565.

Before booking please click here to read the Terms and Conditions

Pitches will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis so book now to avoid missing out. Terms and Conditions apply so please read these before booking.

We are pleased to recommend A Tent For Hire as our preferred company for hire of camping supplies. You can hire your tents and other camping equipment from this Christian company by calling them directly on 07970 183 885 and quoting ‘ROOTS’ as a booking code.

Please note this service is not run by the Salvation Army or the ROOTS event. A Tent For Hire are a separate service provider and any equipment hired is a contract between yourself and A Tent For Hire.
